'Shadow Investigations' were inspired by the myriad of images I
would see daily in the City of Chicago. I am interested in how a shadow
appears as a transformed, two-dimensional image, when it actually
occupies a volume between surface and object.
(see below for other renditions of this series)

As an exercise and investigation of what a two-dimensional
image would like if it became three-dimensional, I used
                      Picasso's "Le Guitariste" painting.

A shadow drawing was then transformed into a three-dimensional model.

similar interests and created this proposal.
